I was looking for directions on Google Maps today when I realized that Google had just added "birds-eye" views for Fort Collins. So, of course, I went to see what our home looks like. Much to my surprise, I found that Google just happened to catch us on the morning of March 29, 2012. Our moving day! So, you better think twice before deciding to run around naked in your back yard. You never know when the aerial photography plane is going to fly by!
An Experiment in Alternative Living
I am so enjoying your trip...your posts often bring back memories of many summers when a friend and I hit the road each in my van as the school year ended, traveling until it was time for school to resume in early fall. When I read of your thoughts and activities I often laugh or nod my head in understanding. The feeling of living at your own pace, day to day is unbelieveable. Steve recorded some great "traveling tapes" for me during that time and I still relive the feeling when I hear those songs.

I love Plaskett Creek!
ReplyDelete@Laurie - Thanks for following along! That's so fantastic that you and your friend took those trips! And pretty sweet that Steve made traveling tapes for you. It's amazing how much music is tied to memory.
ReplyDelete@Rachel - Yeah, Plaskett Creek was beautiful. Our campsite was under a huge old tree. Just perfect.
